PROTECTION LEVELS

This body armour is rated according to the internationally accepted
Standard NIJ 0101.04 for ballistic testing procedures for soft ballistic
panels and ceramic plates.

The soft ballistic panels only afford level II protection. Addition of the
hard ceramic plates increases protection to level III.

THIS STANDARD IS BASED ENTIRELY ON THE USE OF STANDARD FACTORY-LOADED AMMUNITION ONLY, AND EXCLUDES SPECIAL-PURPOSE, COATED, STEEL-JACKETED OR OTHER ARMOUR-PIERCING ROUNDS.
