Female cops get safety wear
Western Cape policewomen will be better equipped to deal
with threats to life with the introduction of a new bulletproof vest especially designed
for them.
Constable Beauty Motshweneng of the police’s provincial area crime combating unit was
all smiles as Western Cape
Police Commissioner Mzwandile Petros and Community Safety MEC Leonard Ramatlakane fitted her with the new vest – officially known as the
Female Bullet Resistant Vest.
